Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE):-

 

       The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE), has been constituted under the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002, primarily for conduct of Entrance Tests and making selection of candidates for admission to various undergraduate, post graduate professional and diploma professional courses like as MBBS, BDS (Agri), BUMS, B.E, MD/MS, B.Ed   etc. courses in the state.

         The Trainings Branch of this department has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 1753.37 lakhs on account of education loan up to ending 31-03-2009 since  inception of the loan scheme has been introduced and 27972 loan cases has been sanctioned for completion of different professional courses viz. engineering degree/Diploma, agriculture and medical etc. and  an amount of Rs. 1003.30 lakhs has been liquidated till  date.

 

In case of obtaining NDCs the department has formulated the format for NDCs in both cases i.e Lonee and Non-Lonee
